SYMPTOMS
When you try to import a document that is currently open in its original application (that is, a Word for Windows document that is currently open in Word), the following error message will occur.
In Works 3.0
Choosing OK returns you to the Startup dialog box.
In Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a
RESOLUTION
- Make sure the file name and path for the file are accurate and point to a logical directory or folder and file name.
- Make sure the file or document is not currently open in another application or in Works.
