SUMMARY
The following is a list of valid time values that can be entered into the Lag field in Microsoft Project. Lead and lag time can be expressed in working time units or elapsed time units, or as a percentage or elapsed percentage of the duration of the predecessor task.

Lag time is created by using a positive time value from the above list and lead time is created by using a minus sign before the time value.
