Half-Life Alpha v0.52 (September 4, 1997) is an alpha version of Half-Life intended for press. According to the game's build numbering convention, this is build 315.
It consists of the game, the level editor, documentation and game soundtrack. There is a tech demo level, some of game chapters and one deathmatch level, named "warez_dm", which is an early version of Stalkyard.
It was leaked on 8th January 2013 by Reddit user jackaljayzer, who received it from a friend in Bellevue in 1997-1998.
