Magic words

I wonder as to what your intention was with Template:Namespace. Maybe something at mediawikiwiki:Magic words would serve your needs? That being said, I don't quite know the intended use-case for this. X010 (talk) 19:15, 2 May 2019 (BST)

@X010 Would {{lcfirst:NAMESPACE}} be the best one to use? I don't think so, because if I used it in a template, it would say something like "This betaArchive Wiki is being recommended for removal", which doesn't make sense. Also, my intention on the {{namespace}} template was to create a unique template to identify kinds of pages. --SebOno (talk | sandbox) elcomeWay otay etaArchiveBay ikiWay! 19:25, 2 May 2019 (BST)
User talk ({{NAMESPACE}}) - does that serve your needs? Also, as for tEST({{lcfirst:TEST}}) I'm confused; that one only makes the first letter lowercase. X010 (talk) 19:33, 2 May 2019 (BST)
@X010 {{NAMESPACE}} wouldn't be the best one to use, as it produces a sentence that doesn't make sense if used in templates. --SebOno (talk | sandbox) elcomeWay otay etaArchiveBay ikiWay! 19:36, 2 May 2019 (BST)
My immediate instinct to that would be to use switches, but then indeed creating a template is the better idea so that the magic word can be adapted accordingly. Please go ahead, and thanks for clarifying. X010 (talk) 19:39, 2 May 2019 (BST)
