824684 Description of the standard terminology that is used to describe Microsoft software updates
Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
For the update to work correctly, the local Network Service account must have full control of the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NetFramework\Policy\AppPatch\v2.0.50727.00000
registry subkey. To do this, follow these steps:
- Grant the local Network Service account full control of the following registry subkey:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NetFramework\Policy\AppPatch\v2.0.50727.00000
- Restart the MOM service on the management servers that have this update installed.
