SUMMARY

This article lists the Microsoft COM+ bugs that are fixed in Microsoft Windows 2000 Post-Service Pack 4 (SP4) COM+ 1.0 Hotfix Rollup Package 34. Each hotfix rollup package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous Windows 2000 COM+ 1.0 hotfix rollup packages.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package:

  • 899596 FIX: The Dllhost process may unexpectedly time out when you click to select the "Leave running when idle" check box in a COM+ application

  • 899751 FIX: You experience activity deadlocks in a COM+ application

  • 897659 Applications that use COM+ may not work correctly and Event ID 4230 is logged on a Windows 2000-based computer
