SUMMARY
This article lists the article numbers for the Microsoft COM+ bugs that are fixed in the Windows 2000 Post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) COM+ hotfix rollup package 25. Windows 2000 Post-SP3 COM+ hotfix rollup packages are cumulative. Each package contains all the fixes that were released in previous Windows 2000 Post-SP3 COM+ hotfix rollup packages.

Note This rollup also includes the following bug fixes:
- When MSDTC is under stress, it may incur an undetected stack overflow exception. This exception causes a leak of a critical section, and this results in a deadlock.
- A problem with the UTSemReadWrite synchronization class used in MSDTC causes a deadlock.
The English version of the fixes that are included in the Windows 2000 Post-SP3 COM+ hotfix rollup package 25 have the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
