Stacked Column Chart Percentage Labels Display Incorrectly PSS ID Number: Q71253 Article last modified on 05-24-1991 PSS database name: W_PowerPt

2.00

WINDOWS

Summary:

If the numbers in the Windows PowerPoint Graph Datasheet are formatted as percentages, and if the chart format being used is a stacked column chart, then the percentage labels will display incorrectly. The labels will have two extra digits; that is, the percentages will range from 0 percent to 10,000 percent instead of from 0 percent to 100 percent.

More Information:

If the numbers in the Datasheet are formatted as anything other than percentages, then the labels on the stacked column chart will display correctly.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in PowerPoint for Windows version 2.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
