Summary:
After selecting the Apple LaserWriter plotter driver, APPLASER.PLT, attempting to select a new plotter driver during that same Microsoft Project session will cause Project to display one of the following error messages and then hang the computer:
- Cannot find file, line #0.
- List is empty, line #0.
The problem occurs if a plotter driver selection (*.PLT) is attempted either by using arrow keys to select from a list of available plotter drivers or by typing in the new driver name.
To change plotter driver once the APPLASER.PLT driver has been selected, exit Project completely and then restart it again.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Project version 4.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
