Summary:
The following are limitations of file conversions between Word for Windows 1.10 and WordPerfect 5.0 via the WordPerfect 5.0 file converter CONV-WP5.DLL.
Conversion to and from WordPerfect 5.0 affects the following features.
WordPerfect to Word for Windows
- Fonts do not map explicitly in all cases.
- If the WordPerfect file contains headers and footers, top and bottom margins may need slight adjustments after you convert the file.
- Centered and right-aligned text in the WordPerfect file are converted line by line. For example, a five-line, right-justified WordPerfect paragraph is converted into five right-justified Word for Windows paragraphs.
Word for Windows to WordPerfect
- Centered text may need readjusting because of the way the font mapping functions.
- The final word of a centered line in Word for Windows may move to the following line when converted to WordPerfect.
