SUMMARY
Microsoft Word version 4.00 does not support the HP Pro Collection Cartridge.
Word version 5.00 provides direct support for the Pro Collection cartridge with the HPPRO.PRD and HPPROL.PRD drivers. The drivers are not listed in the “Printer Information for Microsoft Word” version 5.00 manual, but are described in the PRINTERS.DOC file on the 5.25-inch Printers 1 disk. The drivers are located on the 5.25-inch Utilities/Printers disk.
Word version 5.50 also provides direct support for the Pro Collection cartridge. The driver names are HPPRO.PRD and HPPROL.PRD. The drivers are on the Word 5.50 5.25-inch Printers 2 disk.
