SUMMARY
Microsoft Word version 5.50 directly supports the Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series IIP printer when this printer is selected from File, Printer Setup (ALT, F ,R) and the LaserJet IIP is chosen in the Printer Name (ALT+N) dialog box.
Customers can receive support for the HP LaserJet IIP for Word version 5.00 by upgrading to Word 5.00b, or downloading the file(s) DWXHP.EXE off of Micrisoft Download Service (MSDL). The names of the corresponding HP printer drivers have the name DWXHP.EXE (the asterisk represents a number from 0-7, each a different file).
This printer is not supported in earlier versions of Word.
