SUMMARY

The following information outlines the steps for exporting an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file from Micrografx Designer version 3.01. Although likely similar, these steps may vary from earlier versions of Micrografx Designer.

Steps to Export

  1. Select the symbols to be included in the exported file, or select no symbols to export the entire drawing.
  2. From the File menu, choose Export.
  3. Enter a name for the file with no extension.
  4. Highlight the EPS Encapsulated PostScript export option ("EPS without TIFF preview if you do not wish to attach a screen viewable TIFF bitmap), choose the Export command, and press ENTER. Designer automatically adds a file extension depending on the output format chosen (EPS is designated as the file extension in this case).

Note: The Micrografx PostScript driver (or the standard Windows PostScript printer driver) must be installed before attempting to export a file in the EPS graphics format.
