PROBLEM ID: DLM9103003
SYMPTOMS If the NE2000 driver is enabled for DIX with a thick cable attached, the server hangs when attempting to start a workstation.
CAUSE Without the cable attached, the workstation starts with no problems.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DOS LAN Manager version 2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
