CAUSE This problem occurs if the DOS LAN Manager redirector and messenger services have already been started.

STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DOS LAN Manager versions 2.00a and 2.00b. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
