Summary:
When using version 1.331 of the NEC 24 Pin Printer driver from NEC with Excel 3.00, an Unrecoverable Application Error (UAE) will be generated when choosing Page Setup from Excel’s File menu.
Note: The Print Preview function of Excel functions correctly with this printer.
There is a new driver available from NEC that corrects this problem. The new driver is version 1.360 and is available from two NEC sources. This is not the final version of the driver and another update will be made.

The driver that causes the problem in Excel 3.00 is:
1.331 NECPNSER.DRV 152,208K 08/08/90
This driver should be replaced with the following:
1.360 NECPNSER.DRV 214,832K 01/23/91
The driver size and date may change, but the date should be no earlier than 01/23/91.
This driver can be obtained by calling the NEC Bulletin Board at (508) 635-6328. The driver can also be obtained by calling (800) 632-4636. By calling the 800 number, you will also be put on a mailing list for future enhancements to the driver.
