SUMMARY

In general, when you print a Gantt chart, the task sheet is located on the left side of the page. If you want to print the Gantt chart only, and you drag the Gantt chart across the task sheet, you will have a blank area on the left side of the page (where the task sheet normally is) or the printout will contain only the first field of the current table.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:

Method 1: If you are using Microsoft Project version 4.0, specify a width of 0 for the task sheet.

Method 2: Create a table with a single field and a width of 1. The field should be one that the you do not use (for example, Text6). In the title column, insert a space to clear the default title. For example, do the following:

      1. From the Table menu, choose Define Table.

      2. Click New, and enter the following:

         Field Name Align Width Title
         --------------------------------------

         Text6 Left 1 _
