Summary:
Lantana Technology Inc. has an updated driver for its regular Token Ring drivers that is required for Windows 3.0 to work correctly in the enhanced mode on Novell NetWare workstations. Without this patch, some or all of the network resources (network drives and printers) will not be accessible from Windows in enhanced mode.
The driver patch (CYP316WM.ZIP) can be downloaded from the Lantana BBS by dialing (619) 565-6791 24 hours a day [2400,N,8,1]. The Lantana Token Ring card is made in Mexico and runs at 4 or 16 million bits per second (MBPS).
This patch will let Windows 3.00 access all of the network resources. Lantana is currently working on integrating this into its Token Ring drivers and will post new information on its BBS as the information becomes available.
