Applying Stylesheet Style Doesn’t Affect Character Format

SUMMARY
When a stylesheet paragraph style is attached to a paragraph, the character formatting included in that stylesheet paragraph style may not automatically transfer itself to the text. This problem can occur if character formatting already exists on the text.
To attach the new character formatting from the stylesheet, the following must be done:
Highlight the text that is currently formatted and that is not showing the desired character formatting of the stylesheet paragraph style.
Unformat that text by pressing ALT+X SPACEBAR.
Reapply the stylesheet paragraph style by pressing ALT+

The text should now contain both paragraph and character formatting.
