Works will respond with “Cannot print charts with selected printer” on a network if all the files in the Works program directory (including the printer driver files) are NOT flagged read-only.
To make a file read-only, use the following command from the Works program directory:
attrib +r <filename>
To make a file read-only on a Novell network, use the following command from the Works program directory:
flag <filename> sro
