Summary:
After doing a BACKUP under OS/2 Version 1.10, the MS-DOS Version 4.01 RESTORE utility will hang when trying to restore the files.
This problem occurs because there is no backward compatibility from OS/2 to MS-DOS. At this time, Microsoft does not plan to make any changes to the way RESTORE works in MS-DOS Version 4.01.
However, the OS/2 Version 1.10 RESTORE utility will work with MS-DOS Version 4.01 backed-up files.
