MACINTOSH

Summary:

The following information comes from an application note titled “Macro Tips,” which outlines the use of macros in Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh. To obtain the complete application note, call Microsoft Product Support Services at (206) 454-2030.

More Information:

When you are typing formulas into the formula bar, it is a good idea to type all function names in lowercase letters. When you enter the formula, Excel converts the functions it recognizes to uppercase letters. You can double-check the syntax of names not converted to uppercase letters and make any changes necessary. Excel does not convert items enclosed in quotation marks or names defined on the worksheet to uppercase letters.
