Summary:
When using the word processor tool and placing tabs on the ruler in Microsoft PowerPoint, a combination of regular tabs and decimal tabs can be applied such that when you place a regular tab, it changes into a decimal tab.
To avoid this problem, place the regular tabs first, then place the decimal tabs.
For more information about this problem, call Microsoft Product Support Services at (206) 454-2030.
More Information:
For example, this problem is exhibited as a result of the following steps:
- Create a text box using the word processor tool. From the Text menu, choose Show Text Ruler.
- Place regular tabs at 1 inch and 5 inches.
- Place decimal tabs at 2 inches and 4 inches.
- If a regular tab is then placed at 3 inches, it changes to a decimal tab.
