SUMMARY
If you are running on a two-floppy system, version 5.0 of Microsoft Word for MS-DOS will exit to MS-DOS when you do the following:
Create a document in Word with the document disk in drive B, and choose Library Spell.
Word generates the following prompt:
Replace Word disk with spell disk. Enter Y when ready.
If a misspelled word is found and you choose to correct it, the computer will prompt you to insert the Word Program Disk 2 and “Enter Y when ready.” If you insert the Word Program Disk 2 and press ESC instead of “Y,” Word will exit to MS-DOS and any unsaved work will be lost.
