Summary: To remove an AutoExec macro from a template, do the following: 1. From within Word for Windows, choose Open from the File menu. Type the name of the document template, including the drive and path to where the file is located, in the Open File Name box. Press ENTER or choose OK. 2. From the Macro menu, choose Edit. Use the DOWN ARROW key or the mouse to select the AutoExec macro in the Edit Macro Name list box. 3. Press ALT+D or choose the Delete button. 4. Choose Close. 5. From the File menu, choose Save to save the changes to the template.
