SUMMARY

When using Library Link Spreadsheet to link an Excel spreadsheet to a Word document, characters that are part of the extended character set (characters with ASCII values greater than 127) may be remapped to another character when they are printed from within Word.

You can check to see what characters from the extended character set are printed from Word by running the macro “character_test.mac”, located in the MACRO.GLY glossary file provided with Word version 5.00.

In Word version 5.50, this macro is located in MACRO.GLY but is called “test_character”.
