Multiplan 4.00: Memory Shortage When Loading Spreadsheet PSS ID Number: Q45516 Article last modified on 06-26-1989 PSS database name: D_MPlan

Summary:

An “Insufficient memory” message can appear when attempting to load spreadsheets into Multiplan Version 4.00 from earlier versions. This message appears because the program and spreadsheet format now take up more memory.

Multiplan can take advantage of expanded memory as long as it conforms to the LIM (Lotus/Intel/Microsoft) 4.0 Standard. This resolves many memory shortage problems.

A memory shortage problem generally does not occur under OS/2 unless another application is taking up an excessive amount of RAM.
