Summary:
If you double-click one of the Sampler Template Forms in the Sampler Folder sent with Microsoft File version 2.00, File will display a dialog box that prompts "Please find datafile <filename> Datafile."
The files in the Sampler Folder are simply forms; a data file must be opened first, then one of the template forms. If information has not yet been entered into a data file (that is, if a data file doesn't already exist), do the following to open a template form:
- Double-click the Microsoft File icon.
- Name the new datafile and click New.
- From the File menu, choose Open Form.
- Locate and open the desired template form.
- Close the form and enter data into the data file.
If the data to be used in the Form is already entered in a data file, do the following to open the desired template form:
- Open the data file that contains the desired data.
- From the Form menu, choose Show Form.
- From the File menu, choose Open Form.
- Locate and open the desired Template Form.
The data in the data file will now be displayed as specified by the template form.
