- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh versions 4.0, 5.0, and 5.1 |
SUMMARY
In Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, a side-by-side paragraph may not display left paragraph borders in page layout view (page view in Word 4.0) if it is not the leftmost paragraph of a group of side-by-side paragraphs or if the left paragraph indent has been changed.
If a paragraph has all the following formats, no left border is displayed in page layout view (page view in Word 4.0):
- Side-by-side formatting
- A left indent of any size
- Borders
This behavior is a display limitation of Word. To see all the borders intact, check print preview or print the document.
This function is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a future release.
