Mergeprd Truncates Font Names if Illegal Character Found

Problem:
When using Mergeprd to convert my printer driver into a Word Version 5.00 printer driver, the font names are being truncated. For example, I have font names such as TIMESROMAN[R8] and HELV[US] in my prd. But they appear as TIMESROMAN and HELV after using Mergeprd to convert my printer driver.
Response:
The [ and ] characters are invalid characters to include in font names. These characters are reserved to specify cartridge support in the printer driver.
