SUMMARY
The following OS/2 error message occurs when you attempt to run Word in protected mode if the CONFIG.SYS file does not contain the IOPL=YES statement:
SYS0197: Operating System/2 is not presently configured to run this application
The IOPL=YES statement gives data input/output privilege to a process that requests it. Under OS/2 Version 1.10, the IOPL statement may also appear as IOPL=WORD in the CONFIG.SYS file.
