Printing a Running Head on First and Odd Pages of a Document

SUMMARY
To print a running head on the first page and all the odd pages of a document, do the following:
- Highlight the running head.
- Select the Format Running-head command.
- Set both the “odd pages:” and the “first page:” fields to Yes. Set the “even pages:” field to No.
In Word version 5.50, use the following steps:
- Highlight the running head.
- From the Format menu, select Header/Footer (ALT, T, H).
- Mark Odd Pages (D) and First Page (P).
