- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

If you begin typing in a table cell created by the Insert Table command and no text appears in the cell (although the height of the cell may be increasing), show the ruler and move the left- and right-indent markers so that they appear within that cell’s boundaries. Also make sure that the right-indent marker is to the right of the left-indent marker.

The indents for a cell may also be returned to normal by selecting the cell or cells and doing the following:

  1. From the Format menu, choose Paragraph.
  2. Type 0 (zero) in the boxes for left, right, and first indents.
  3. Click OK.
