STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Message Queuing 2.0. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.

MORE INFORMATION

The following command line switch accommodates the name of the Microsoft Message Queuing resource:

mqbkup [ b | r ] [ /C <name-of-msmq-resource> ] <path-to-backup-directory>

NOTE: You can not change the error strings in Mqbkup.exe for this hotfix or for future Windows 2000 Service Packs. Therefore, when errors that are returned by Mqbkup.exe are run on a Virtual Cluster service, the errors refer to the Microsoft Message Queuing resource and the cluster resource manager.
