Session Summary

In this session we will discuss how you can upgrade your Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 applications to Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. We will cover the process of bringing your Visual C++ 6.0 application forward to Visual Studio .NET; compatibility issues; and new features in Visual Studio .NET, like XML Web Services, and how you can incorporate these features into your existing applications.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded April 5, 2002 and presented by Diana Mitran. Diana Mitran is a Program Manager on the Visual C++ team and is responsible for the Visual C++ Project System. Diana joined Microsoft in 1999. She has worked as a C++ programmer and as an industry consultant.
