Problem: The MASM setup procedure has several problems as follows:
- You cannot run the setup procedure from drive b:.
- Environment variables which the setup procedure creates and uses are not deleted under certain circumstances. This can use “out of environment space”, when you do have enough room.
Response: You can copy all the files directly to your hard drive, and not use the setup program at all. This problem was fixed in MASM Version 5.00A.
