Illegal Instruction Segreg ID Number: Q26802

Problem: MASM accepts the illegal instruction “MOV segreg,reg32” without giving a syntax error during assembly time. “Segreg” is any segment register and “reg32” is 32-bit register.
Response: This problem was fixed in MASM Version 5.00A. Please call Product Support and request an update to MASM Version 5.00A.
