SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft Motocross Madness 2, textures and colors on the ground may be distorted.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

  • A Creative Labs 3D Blaster Savage 4 video adapter is installed in your computer.
  • The video adapter is configured to use a screen resolution higher than 1280 X 1024 in the game.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, configure your video adapter to use a lower display resolution in the game or download and install the latest 3D Blaster Savage 4 video driver from the following Creative Labs Web site:

To configure your video adapter to use a lower screen resolution in the game:

  1. Start Motocross Madness 2, and then click Options ([GRAPHIC: the three gears]).
  2. Click the Graphics tab.
  3. In the Display Resolution box, click a resolution that is lower than 1600 X 1200.
  4. Click Back ([GRAPHIC: the pointing hand]) until you return to the startup screen.
