To configure the SideWinder Dual Strike game controller to function in Motocross Madness:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Game Controllers.
- Click Microsoft SideWinder Dual Strike, and then click Properties.
- Click the Schemes tab.
- In the Selected Scheme box, click Motocross Madness.
- Click to select the Enable all schemes for SideWinder software 4.0 check box, and then click OK.
- Start Motocross Madness.
- On the Motocross Madness startup screen, click Options, and then click Control Options.
- Click the Control button until "2-Axis, 4-Button Joystick" is displayed.
- Click Restore Defaults.
- Click OK, and then click Back.
