SYMPTOMS
When you open a Microsoft Word document that contains an object that is linked to a Microsoft Excel worksheet, the resulting object may be resized smaller, the text in the object or the entire object may be "squashed", or the object may be unreadable. For example, a table that should look like the following example

7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16 |
may look like one of the following when you open your Word document:

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, click to select the Microsoft Excel object, and then press F9 to update it.
