SYMPTOMS

When you open a Microsoft Word document that contains an object that is linked to a Microsoft Excel worksheet, the resulting object may be resized smaller, the text in the object or the entire object may be "squashed", or the object may be unreadable. For example, a table that should look like the following example

To work around this problem, click to select the Microsoft Excel object, and then press F9 to update it.
