SYMPTOMS
When a session that is shadowing another session is disconnected, you may receive a "STOP 0x1E" error message.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because of a race condition that exists between the disconnect and the end of the shadow. One of the threads hits a hard-coded breakpoint because of this race condition, which causes the error message.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT Server version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
