SYMPTOMS
When you receive a Dial Up Networking (DUN) error while retrieving mail in Outlook, you are unable to use your dial up connection in Outlook, or any other program.
CAUSE
Outlook does not release the dial up connection.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
