SUMMARY
When creating a form in Word, use the following steps to create fields that will be underlined:
- Set a tab to where the field will end.
- Press the TAB key at the start of the field.
- Use the LEFT ARROW key to return to the tab mark.
- Press Format Character and set the “underline:” field to Yes.
This process is not specific to the Form Generation feature of Word versions 4.00 and 5.00 but works equally well with earlier versions of Word when designing a form with underlined fields.
