SYMPTOMS
You may receive the following warning (or similar) in Internet Explorer:
where <CompanyOne> and <CompanyTwo> are the companies who issued the certificate, and Litware, Inc. is the company who requested the certificate.
CAUSE
This warning occurs when a package has already been installed on a client computer, and a user tries to install a newer version (or the same version) that is signed with a different certificate. This behavior prevents a package from being overwritten without the user's knowledge.
RESOLUTION
As noted in the "Cause" section of this article, this warning is to prevent a user from accidentally overwriting a package. One way to work around this problem is to remove the package before installing the new one. For information on removing a package, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
