SYMPTOMS
When you enter a formula into the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet Component, you receive an error message similar to the following:
If you click Details, you receive an error message similar to the following:
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You use a formula similar to the following to call a VB Script or JavaScript function located on your Web page:
Document.Script.<Name of Function>
where <Name of Function> is the name of the function that you want to call from the spreadsheet component.

- You are using Microsoft FrontPage to create your Web page.
-and-
- You are using FrontPage in the Normal view.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
