Summary: The MAKERUN.BAT file provided with COBOL Tools is different than either of the MAKERUNs provided with the Microsoft COBOL Compiler. An incorrect MAKERUN in COBOL Tools will generate the following error message:
“VIEW.OBJ NOT FOUND.”
You can avoid this error message by using the MAKERUN.BAT file that comes with Microsoft COBOL Tools.
