SYMPTOMS
When you use Money 98 while McAfee PC Medic 97 Crash Monitor is active, you may receive the following error message:
Crash Monitor has intercepted an application problem!
Application: user.exe Description: General Protection Fault
user.exe caused exception “General Protection Fault” in module USER at 16EF:0C98.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you use Microsoft Money 98 and McAfee PC Medic 97 Crash Monitor.
RESOLUTION
When using Money do not use Crash Monitor. To turn off Crash Monitor, right- click the Crash Monitor icon on the taskbar and click Exit on the shortcut menu.
