WD95: ALL CAPS in Word 97 Document Changes to Mixed CaseArticle ID: Q173290 The information in this article applies to: - Microsoft Word for Windows 95, versions 7.0,7.0a SYMPTOMSIn Word versions 7.x, when you open a Word 97 for Windows document that contains an outline numbered list formatted with a numbered style with all capital letters, as in the following example ONE TWO THREE the numbered style font effect is changed to mixed case, as in the following example: One Two Three CAUSEThis problem occurs if you use the Word 97 Import Converter (mswrd832.cnv) to open the document. Certain versions of the converter change the number style font effect of ALL CAPS to Mixed in an outlined numbered list. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, upgrade to the latest version of the Word 97 Import Converter. To obtain the updated converter, use the method appropriate for your situation.
