To cancel an account, use any of the following methods:
Method 1
To cancel an account online, use the following steps:
- Connect to MSN.
- Click the question mark in the upper-right corner of MSN Program Viewer.
- Click Check Or Change Your Account, and then click Cancel Account.
NOTE: If you receive the following error message
Error 101
when you attempt to cancel your account, the account server is currently unavailable. Wait a few minutes and then try again. If the error message continues to appear, either try again the next day or cancel your account using one of the methods outlined below.
Method 2
To cancel an account by fax, use the following steps:
Create a cancellation request that includes the following information:
- Your first and last name - Your MSN Member ID - Your mailing address - The last six numbers of the credit card you used to verify the account
Fax the completed cancellation request to the following number:
(800) 616-4440
Method 3
To cancel your account by mail, use the following steps:
Create a cancellation request that includes the following information:
- Your first and last name - Your MSN Member ID - Your mailing address - The last six numbers of the credit card you used to verify the account
Mail the completed cancellation request to the following address:
